Noticeboard

THANK YOU!  Many thanks for all of the Christmas gifts given to the practice in recent weeks - the team have thoroughly enjoyed the chocolates and biscuits!  We are grateful to all for thinking of us at this time of year.

GP Partner Update:  Sadly, Dr Goyal will be leaving the practice at the end of December.  Unfortunately his family circumstance has changed since he joined us six months ago, and he is no longer able to commit to the partnership.  However, we do hope that Dr Goyal will work with us again in the future.  We are now advertising for a new GP Partner, however can assure our patients that we have secured locum GP cover for the coming months so that there is no gap in our service provision.

PATIENT LIST CLOSURE:  With effect from 29th November 2021 our patient list will be temporarily closed.  This decision has been taken in order to ensure that we can continue to provide a safe service to our currently registered patients.

New babies born to mothers registered here will continue to be registered, and we will also be able to offer 'temporary patient' appointments to patients visiting a household that is already registered with the practice.

We will regularly review this decision, with a view to opening the list again as soon as we are able.

NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM:  We are pleased to inform you that the practice will be implementing a new telephone system on Thursday 2nd September.  Our new system will introduce significant benefits for our patients:  no more engaged tones, knowing where you are in the telephone queue, along with the ability to request a 'queue busting' call back.  Whilst we are confident that the implementation will be a fairly smooth process, please bear with the team while we get used to working with it.  Thank you for your support with this.

FACE COVERINGS:  In order to protect our patients and staff, we respectfully ask that you continue to wear your face coverings if you attend the surgery for any reason.  We thank you for your support in this matter.

My Care Record:  Privacy Notice – Coronavirus (Covid-19) Response Addendum.  This notice describes how we may use your information to protect you and others during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, and it supplements our main Privacy Notice (Fair Processing Notice).  More information available here.

These can now be booked online by clicking on the link - www.mse.nhs.uk/blood-tests

Repeat Prescriptions:  From 1st April 2020 you will no longer be able to order your repeat prescriptions from your local pharmacy or via another third party.  Requests for repeat medication should be made direct to the surgery via any of the following options:

Please do speak to a member of the reception team if you have any queries regarding this change.
