Winter Flu and Covid Vaccinations

You can only have a FREE FLU and Covid VACCINATION if you are eligible. We offer patients complete Heath Care by checking your medical notes before Vaccinating patients. 
 
There has never been a more important time to make sure you, and those you care for, are protected against serious illnesses such as the flu and Covid.
 
Who should get the flu vaccine?
You may be eligible for the flu vaccine if you are:
  • are aged 65 or over (including if you will be 65 by 31 March 2024)
  • have certain long-term health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • live in a care home
  • are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
  • live with someone who has a weakened immune system
Frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer.
Most children can get the children’s flu vaccine. This includes children who were aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2023, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) and children with certain health conditions. [http://please%20visit%20www.nhs.uk/child-flu%20for%20more%20information]Find out more.

Who can have a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine

When seasonal COVID-19 vaccines are available, they will be offered to people who are at increased risk from COVID-19.

How to get a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine

The NHS will contact you if your NHS record suggests you may be eligible for a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine.

When they're available, there will be different ways to get a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine:

  • booking online
  • going to a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site
  • through a local NHS service, such as a GP surgery
  • through your care home
