When We Are Closed

Under the national GP contract, responsibility for out of hours care belongs to the Clinical Commisioning Group who have contracted it out to Primecare.

They will provide all out of hours cover for patients living in the Chelmsford Area.

The Out of Hours Service can be contacted through NHS 111

This service will operate between the hours of 18:30 and 08:00 on weekdays and from 18:30 Friday until 08:00 Monday, as well as Bank Holidays.

Access to this service for our patients can still be achieved by ringing the surgery, when the contact number will be given by the phone message.

Call 999 in an emergency. Sudden onset severe chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
